People sometimes say, \u201cJesus never said He was God.\u201d He also never said He wasn\u2019t. Instead of self-advertising, Jesus lets the <em>Father<\/em> bear witness\u2014through His words, His works, Scripture, and ultimately the resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also believe this: <em>God is Spirit<\/em> (John 4:24). The Spirit of the Father is in Jesus, and Jesus speaks and acts from that union. His body and human mind are truly human, yet His life flows from the Father. He came to reveal who God is and to reconnect us to Him through His good news\u2014His teachings, commands, parables\u2014and by how He lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cIf I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.\u201d<\/em> (John 5:31)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t Jesus denying His identity; it\u2019s His method of revelation. This is <em>not<\/em> denial; it\u2019s divine humility plus legal clarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"oneness\">2) Oneness &amp; Mutual Indwelling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus claims unique, reciprocal indwelling with the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cI and the Father are one.\u201d<\/em> (John 10:30)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWhoever has seen me has seen the Father\u2026 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.\u201d<\/em> (John 14:9\u201311)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Deep dive<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See also John 5:19; 8:28\u201329; 12:49\u201350; and John 4:24 (God is Spirit).
